Mary J's -1/6/2003

We've had a bit of snow!
About 18"...

Temps were in the high 20's - low 30's and the day got grayer as it progressed.

Ari, Marion, Mary and I painted on Mary's porch.

Above right is the view and on the right a shot of the HiHo trail from this morning...
Deacon Seat - 1/13
Ari, Diane, Freda and I painted today.  Steve stopped by with a friend to say hello.

It was cold once again ( it is winter! ) and the skies darkened as the morning progressed.  Snow is predicted...

Ari started a new painting of a scene he photographed in Paris along the Seine.  The start looks really good.  Love that shadow on the standing figure...

Diane worked on a painting previously started in acrylics and it's coming along fine!  She hasn't painted in a while and got off to a slow start... see what happens when you don't paint regularly!

Freda finally joined us since her family and company have all gone home.  She worked on the painting she started at Eagle Lake and you can see the progression...

I worked on two w/c's for my classes.  The cat was really fun and I think the students will enjoy doing it.  The lighthouse is Owl's Head...

A trip to the Colby Museum is planned for next week.
Let me know if you're coming along!
